Minister Kimmo Tiilikainen

Minister Kimmo Tiilikainen was born on 17 August, 1966 in Ruokolahti in south-eastern Finland. Kimmo Tiilikainen is the Minister of Agriculture and the Environment of Finland, since May 2015. He has been a member of Parliament since 2003 and also a former Minister of the Environment of Finland from 2007 to 2008. Tiilikainen graduated in 1991 from the University of Joensuu with a Master of Science in Agriculture and Forestry. He is also an organic farmer and forester. Currently, Tiilikainen is the Chairman of the Centre Party Parliamentary Group and a member of the Finnish Parliament. He is also a City Council member in his home municipality in Ruokolahti. Outside work, his main interest lies in football.
