Farid Sharifi leads World Wildlife Fund Canada's Renewable Energy initiatives across Canada and in the North. During his 6 years with the organization, Farid has led key renewable energy projects, including most recently WWF’s work on renewable energy in remote Canadian Arctic communities.
Farid has MBA degree from University of Toronto and has expert knowledge of renewable energy technologies, including 5 years of experience working for a hydropower consulting engineering firm.
He has multiple publication in peer reviewed journals including Engineering Optimization and Environmental monitoring and assessment.
